Public Monero nodes hosted by XMR.to

XMR.to hosts a set of Monero daemons for public access. These nodes are stable, public, and fast. Very useful if you can't run a full node yourself!

Our preferred wallets work very well together with our public nodes

Mainnet

This is the "real" Monero network. This is the only network in which coins have value. Protocol upgrades happen every 6 months following this schedule.

IP address63.34.74.228
RPC Port18081 (default)

Example Usage

  • Monero CLI wallet: monero-wallet-cli --daemon-host node.xmr.to
  • Monerujo: 63.34.74.228:18081

Tor

RPC Port18081 (default)

Testnet

The testnet network is used to test new features and protocol upgrades using worthless coins, before they are live on the mainnet. Testnet is upgraded frequently and highly experimental. You typically need it only for developing the Monero protocol/daemon. You need to compile a recent commit to use it, and upgrade frequently.

IP address63.34.74.228
RPC Port28081 (default)

Example Usage

  • Monero CLI wallet: monero-wallet-cli --testnet --daemon-host node.xmr.to
  • Monerujo in test mode works with stagenet, see below.

Tor

Stagenet

The stagenet network runs a 1:1 copy of the mainnet protocol, except that it allows to play with worthless coins. It's intended for integrators, that is, developers of apps and services that act on the Monero network. The protocol is upgraded every 6 months, about 2 weeks ahead of mainnet.
